Wonder Woman Trailer and Happy NaNoWriMo!

New trailer for Wonder Woman? Yes, please!

So I'm really excited for this movie. I want it (nay, need) it to be good, and have already gone on record to say that if it's bad, I will cry and said reaction would be filmed. To my great relief, the Comic-Con trailer was phenomenal and got my hopes up quite a lot after Batman vs. Superman. That's where I'm coming from with this one; I thought Suicide Squad was okay, and a step in at least the somewhat right direction, but this is the one that I'm pinning my hopes on. With that, how was the trailer?

It was good, I really enjoyed it. There's a lot of great imagery and some seriously badass stuff going on here. I'm having a hard time liking it as much as that original Comic-Con footage, though. This one almost seems a bit toned down, like they are trying to give us more character stuff without actually giving us a whole lot. I watched the two back-to-back, and there's definitely less of an epic feeling here. Not to say it makes it look like the film will be bad, because it doesn't. I still have a lot of hope for Wonder Woman, and I'm just going to go into it the same way we went into Legendary's Godzilla and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with the mantra 'please be good, please be good, please be good'.

In other news, Happy NaNoWriMo to all my fellow writers! What are you guys doing to help you up the creative output? For myself, I started the month by compiling a new playlist for writing (especially blog writing) that would hopefully help me concentrate more and spend less time skipping through songs. It's also entirely made of up soundtrack music: everything from Batman, to Star Wars, Godzilla, 300, Dragon Age II, Jurassic Park, etc. So far it's going pretty well.

Hopefully everyone's having a great week and I'll be back in a few days with a new review for Doctor Strange. Until then, happy writing!
